Tuffa 1350 Litre Plastic Bunded Diesel Tank

Our Tuffa 1350 Litre Plastic Bunded Diesel Tank is an LLDPE tank designed for the storage of diesel in agricultural, commercial and industrial environments. It features a covered bund which prevents the collection of rainwater and debris alongside a lockable flip lid allowing access to all equipment.

Suitable for a range of uses, diesel storage tanks are commonly used for transport and logistics companies requiring onsite fuel storage, storing red or white diesel on agricultural premises, and feeding back-up generators to power hospitals and city councils for emergency electricity.

Each tank comes with a ten-year warranty and is manufactured in the UK from a premium grade of Lower Linear Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) which is recyclable, rust resistant and UV stabilised.

The bunded design offers enhanced protection for the oil and surrounding environment with the inner tank holding the oil while the outer bund carries a minimum 110% of the total amount of liquid being stored. In the unlikely event of the inner tank splitting, the outer bund retains the contents and safeguards the immediate area from spillages.

The lockable hinged flip lid affords easy access to the tank and provides an additional security element.

All our Tuffa bunded diesel tanks come complete with submersible pumping units, consisting of a pump, flowmeter, a delivery hose and automatic shut-off nozzle, filtration and gauge.

Available Upgrades

Watchman Sonic - an electronic oil level sensor that remotely monitors the level of fuel in the tank. This will replace the standard clock gauge.

Quick and simple to install, this industry-recognised remote oil level monitor continuously measures the amount of fuel in your oil storage tank and wirelessly transmits the reading to an indoors receiver meaning you don’t have to go out in the cold to establish your fuel level. When the level is below 10 percent, the fuel dispensing pump symbol appears on the receiver as a reminder to order more oil.

K44 pulsed output flowmeter - to enable connection to an existing fuel management system. This replaces the standard flowmeter.

The K44 fuel flow meter with pulse output is a cost-effective solution to measuring the flow of fuel. It was developed to accurately count how much diesel has been used, using a nutating disk system. This Piusi diesel pulse meter is suitable for use in industrial applications where fluid delivery control is required at highly accurate levels.
